What you will do

• Conduct comprehensive energy assessments in single-family and manufactured homes.
• Install energy-saving devices such as LEDs and smart power strips.
• Collect and document detailed data on HVAC, appliances, and building envelopes using software tools.
• Educate homeowners on energy efficiency and recommend actionable upgrade steps.
• Coordinate with quality assurance teams and participate in community outreach events.
• Troubleshoot comfort issues and identify primary drivers of energy consumption.

Requirements

• High School Diploma required.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 30 lbs, climbing ladders, and walking.
• Willingness to obtain relevant certifications (e.g., BPI, RESNET) within six months of hire.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with homeowners and tenants.

Nice to have

• Certified RESNET HERS Rater or BPI Building Analyst.
• Experience with energy modeling software and building science applications.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
• Prior experience in residential energy audits or construction.
