What you will do
- Own the Annual Claims File Review (ACFR) process and coordinate audit activities across internal and external resources.
- Lead sanctions governance for claims, ensuring identification and escalation in line with Lloyd’s and internal policies.
- Provide independent analysis of large loss activity and claims trends for underwriting committees.
- Conduct on-site engagement with syndicate claims teams to assess performance and control effectiveness.
- Oversee claims audits for delegated business and ensure remedial actions are tracked to completion.
- Act as the primary senior referral point for claims exceeding syndicate authority.
Requirements
- Extensive technical claims experience within the Lloyd’s and London Market environment.
- Strong understanding of Lloyd’s governance frameworks, including ACFR, audits, and delegated authority.
- Proven experience in claims assurance, audit oversight, and remediation tracking.
- Advanced ability to analyze complex claims data and reporting.
- Progress toward or completion of ACII or equivalent professional qualification.
