Senior Software Engineer (Fintech)

What you will do

• Contribute to the architecture and long-term technical vision of the Yield backend systems.
• Own the end-to-end delivery of investment workflows, including client signup, investment, and redemption.
• Build and maintain financial infrastructure such as reconciliation controls, unit registries, and investment ledgers.
• Write reliable, testable, and maintainable code integrating with external investment providers.
• Promote engineering best practices across observability, API design, and integration rails.
• Collaborate with Product, Infrastructure, and Design on the Yield product experience.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
• Experience solving distributed-systems challenges involving scalability, consistency, and latency.
• Strong backend engineering expertise; the current stack includes Kotlin with Vert.x, Temporal, and Kafka.
• Experience with automated testing and quality-control processes.
• Experience with GCP or AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and observability tools such as Splunk, New Relic, Prometheus, or Grafana.
