What you will do

• Design and build high-integrity backend systems for investment, signup, and redemption workflows.
• Contribute to the architecture and long-term technical strategy for the Yield product squad.
• Develop and maintain mission-critical financial infrastructure, including ledgers and reconciliation controls.
• Write high-quality, testable code ensuring seamless integration with external investment providers.
• Uphold engineering best practices with a focus on observability, API design, and system reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver a high-performance product experience.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Bachelor degree or higher in computer science or a related field.
• Proven experience solving distributed systems challenges such as scalability, consistency, and latency.
• Mastery of backend technologies (experience with Kotlin, vert.x, Temporal, or Kafka is highly relevant).
• Strong experience with cloud technologies including GCP or AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in observability tooling such as Splunk, NewRelic, Prometheus, or Grafana.
