What you will do

• Design and implement comprehensive QA standards and testing strategies across multiple agile teams.
• Develop and maintain advanced test automation frameworks for UI and API/service testing.
• Collaborate with UX, product, and engineering teams to integrate quality into the SDLC.
• Analyze product health using logs, metrics, and observability tools to prioritize quality investments.
• Provide technical leadership to influence quality strategy without direct authority.
• Implement process improvements like TDD or BDD to prevent defects early in the development cycle.

Requirements

• 7+ years of software or quality engineering experience in large-scale systems.
• Strong programming skills in modern languages such as Python, TypeScript, or JavaScript.
• Hands-on experience with UI automation (Cypress, Playwright) and API testing (REST/GraphQL).
• Deep understanding of modern web/mobile stacks, microservices, and cloud platforms.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and articulate technical risks to leadership.
• Must be located in Vancouver, BC to work from our downtown office.

Nice to have

• Experience in Automotive, EV, or E-Commerce domains.
• Knowledge of applying AI tooling to quality and testing strategies.
• Familiarity with observability tools like Datadog or Prometheus.
• Experience with experimentation strategies such as feature flags and canary deployments.
