What you will do

• Own design, development, and maintenance of scalable automated test frameworks including Playwright, API, integration, and end-to-end tests
• Build and operate reliable test infrastructure integrated into CI/CD pipelines
• Drive test automation strategy to optimize coverage, speed, and signal quality
• Partner with engineers to design systems for testability like observability and contract testing
• Validate complex payment flows and external integrations through automation
• Lead root cause analysis for defects and enforce quality standards for revenue-critical systems

Requirements

• 5+ years in software engineering, SDET, or test automation roles
• Proven experience designing and maintaining test automation frameworks at scale
• Experience with API, integration, and end-to-end testing patterns
• Strong understanding of CI/CD systems and test pipeline optimization
• Ability to design systems for testability and work with distributed systems
• Strong collaboration skills to influence engineering practices
