Location: Must be based in or able to commute to Casalecchio di Reno, Italy (Hybrid role).

What you will do

• Support the creation of mechanical samples and assist in hands-on manufacturing processes like 3D printing and machining.
• Develop, refine, and validate jigs and test equipment for verification testing.
• Perform advanced measurement activities, including 3D scanning, and collaborate with external suppliers.
• Contribute to the optimization of manufacturing and refurbishment processes for components.
• Standardize test and measurement processes to improve project consistency and scalability.
• Prepare technical documentation for mechanical and hydraulic developments to ensure knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or mechanical-focused secondary studies.
• Must be eligible to work in Italy.
• Good understanding of 2D mechanical drawings and familiarity with 3D modeling.
• Basic knowledge of metrology, measurement techniques, and machining tools like milling machines and lathes.
• Hands-on experience or interest in additive manufacturing technologies.
• Fluency in English is required.
• Preference given to candidates belonging to protected categories (art. 1 Law 68/99).
