Financial Planning & Analysis Intern

TL;DR

Financial Planning & Analysis Intern: Supporting the FP&A team in financial reporting, budgeting, and system administration with an accent on data reconciliation and process improvement. Focus on leveraging Adaptive Planning and Excel to maintain financial dashboards, update forecasts, and draft governance policies.

Location: Must be based in or able to commute to the New York City office at least 3 days per week.

What you will do

• Assist in preparing reporting and analytical materials for the organization.
• Manage and administer the Adaptive Planning financial system.
• Reconcile data between Adaptive Planning and Sage Intacct accounting software.
• Update headcount dashboards and analysis on a monthly basis.
• Support the annual budget process and quarterly forecasting using Excel templates.
• Draft finance policies and update Standard Operating Procedures for the FP&A department.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or completing a bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
• Must be able to work on-site at the NYC office at least 3 days per week.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft and Google products.
• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a high-performing team.
