What you will do

• Manage and grow multiple engineering teams, focusing on people development, engagement, and hiring.
• Own the engineering delivery and efficiency for the Supply Domain.
• Establish organizational structure, squad processes, and delivery cadences.
• Drive architectural design and ensure high quality and stability of services.
• Manage incidents and plan resources according to quarterly roadmaps.
• Advocate for the internal and external tech brand.

Requirements

• Fluent in English (verbal and written).
• Extensive experience managing backend or cross-functional engineering teams.
• Proficiency in reviewing code in Ruby and/or Python.
• Deep knowledge of microservice architecture, event-driven systems, and asynchronous communication.
• Ability to act as a hands-on technical leader when necessary.
• Must be based in or willing to relocate to Berlin for hybrid collaboration.
