What you will do

• Design and implement high-performance streaming server components primarily using C++ and Go.
• Build scalable systems for large-scale, high-availability AWS cloud environments.
• Contribute to the architectural evolution of streaming protocols and transcoding capabilities.
• Collaborate with Dev/Cloud Operations to ensure reliable production deployments and system performance.
• Participate in incident management, root cause analysis, and long-term system improvements.
• Engage in architecture planning and technical interviewing to support team growth.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience in C/C++.
• Strong background in designing and building distributed systems in production.
• Experience identifying and debugging performance bottlenecks in complex systems.
• Solid understanding of software development lifecycle, release processes, and system testing.
• Ability to independently own and deliver significant features or components.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to negotiate design tradeoffs.

Nice to have

• Experience with Rust, Go, or Python.
• Knowledge of streaming protocols (HLS, RTMP, RTSP) and media codecs.
• Familiarity with advertising protocols like VAST or OpenRTB.
• Experience with AWS services (EKS, Lambda, Kinesis) and containerized environments.
