What you will do

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement backend services and APIs.
• Develop and optimize microservices for high-performance distributed systems.
• Streamline real-time data processing and event-driven architectures using SQS and messaging queues.
• Implement RESTful APIs using Python and FastAPI.
• Deploy containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes in AWS cloud environments.
• Conduct unit, integration, and load testing to ensure system reliability and performance.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience as a backend engineer.
• Strong proficiency in Java or Python (exposure to both preferred).
• Expertise in microservices architecture, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Experience with AWS (Lambda, Step Functions, SQS) and CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions or Octopus.
• Solid understanding of databases (Snowflake, DynamoDB, RDS, MySQL, MongoDB) and search technologies (Elasticsearch, OpenSearch).
• Must be based in Romania

Nice to have

• Exposure to GenAI application development and RAG-based systems.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Strong grasp of distributed systems and high-performance backend architecture.
