What you will do

• Write clean, maintainable, and idiomatic Go code to ensure system scalability and reliability.
• Act as the primary technical point of contact for POS partners, translating complex requirements for non-technical stakeholders.
• Implement Test-Driven Development (TDD) and automated testing to prevent regressions and ensure fast feedback loops.
• Investigate and resolve complex production issues, debugging integration failures to improve system stability.
• Mentor peers on XP principles, pair programming, and TDD to uplift the overall engineering culture.

Requirements

• Proven commercial experience with Go in a professional environment.
• Strong knowledge of microservice architectures and messaging systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Experience designing and consuming APIs for third-party integrations.
• Hands-on expertise in eXtreme Programming (XP) practices, including pair programming and collective ownership.
• Strong commitment to TDD and comprehensive automated testing (unit, integration, contract, E2E).
• Must be based in Spain to support the hybrid work setup in Málaga.

Nice to have

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of AWS and DynamoDB.
• Experience with gRPC and Protocol Buffers.
• Proficiency with GitHub Actions.
