What you will do

• Develop and execute design verification strategies for water quality instruments.
• Determine testing methods, environments, and tools, and define schedules and resourcing.
• Draft and review verification protocols and reports.
• Track and report verification progress and advise on risks and mitigations.
• Conduct experimental design to characterize performance of components, sub-systems, and systems.

Requirements

• B.S. in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Statistics, or physical science.
• 3-5 years of experience in hardware design, Verification, Reliability, Quality, or Test Engineering.
• Experience with data analysis, statistical graphics, and inferential techniques.
• Proficiency in creating verification plans, protocols, and reports.
• Experience with defect tracking and configuration management tools.
• Availability to travel up to 10%, locally or internationally.

Nice to have

• Experience with electro-mechanical devices utilizing firmware, optics, and chemistry.
• Proficiency with Minitab, R Studio, or DiscoverSim.
• Experience with DOEs, GR&Rs, and CpK analysis.
• Knowledge of risk analysis tools, FMEAs, and Design for Six Sigma Score Card.
• Experience in the medical device or aerospace industry.
