What you will do

• Manufacture bulk solutions according to existing formularies.
• Perform production controls and adjust bulk reagents to meet product specifications.
• Operate and maintain manufacturing equipment in a safe and productive manner.
• Maintain clean production and lab areas and follow production schedules.
• Manage production and inventory records using Oracle and the Kanban process.
• Ensure strict compliance with safety policies, including PPE usage and lock-out-tag-out procedures.

Requirements

• Must be based in or be able to work onsite in Ames, Iowa.
• Minimum 1 year of completed college chemistry with lab.
• Minimum 1 year of scientific production, process, or lab technician experience OR a Bachelor of Science degree.
• Ability to frequently lift up to 20 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
• Successful completion of pre-employment drug screen and background check.
