R&D Reliability Engineer (Manufacturing)

R&D Reliability Engineer (Manufacturing): Providing technical oversight and implementing Design for Reliability (DFR) best practices for water analysis product lines with an accent on reliability prediction models and testing protocols. Focus on driving design decisions through FMEA, FRACAS, and accelerated life testing to ensure product longevity and environmental sustainability.

Location: Onsite 4 days a week in Loveland, CO

Salary: $100,000 - $120,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Drive Design for Reliability (DFR) analysis, design efforts, and testing activities to support innovative product lines.
• Generate Reliability Test Plans and Procedures, including ALTA, RGT, HALT, Endurance, and Demonstration Testing.
• Develop complex reliability prediction models to influence design focus and resource prioritization.
• Collaborate with System Engineers to conduct and support FMEA and System Hazard Analysis.
• Lead the FRACAS process by acting as the chairman for the Failure Review Board (FRB).
• Partner with Supply Chain Management to ensure high quality and reliability of procured parts and assemblies.

Requirements

• BS or MS degree in Applied Mathematics, Reliability Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience supporting product design and development as a reliability engineer.
• Knowledge of electromechanical or mechanical design.
• Proficiency in FMEA, Reliability Prediction and Modeling, and FRACAS.
• Experience with reliability testing methods (ALTA, RGT, HALT, etc.).
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Loveland, CO (4 days/week).
