What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Python.
• Build and integrate REST APIs for internal and external consumers.
• Implement data processing flows, including batch and streaming pipelines.
• Work with AWS cloud services and design relational/NoSQL database schemas.
• Integrate backend systems with third-party APIs and AI inference services.
• Collaborate with DevOps on CI/CD pipelines and implement production monitoring and observability.

Requirements

• Strong professional experience as a Backend Engineer with Python.
• Proven track record of building and maintaining production-grade services.
• Practical experience with AWS and basic cloud architecture patterns.
• Proficiency in REST API design and database management (SQL/NoSQL).
• Experience with logging, monitoring, and observability tools for production debugging.
• Must be located in Romania.

Nice to have

• Basic understanding of or exposure to Go.
• Experience with event-driven architectures and messaging queues.
• Experience integrating ML-related APIs or AI inference services.
• Familiarity with IaC, containerization, or orchestration tools.
