What you will do
- Lead an AI-first engineering team by designing workflows where AI coding agents generate most code and humans review, validate, and enforce quality.
- Own delivery of a mission-critical back-office system for real estate bridging loan lifecycle management.
- Develop a marketplace connecting borrowers, brokers, and debt investors, taking architecture through to production.
- Drive engineering quality by setting standards for code quality, testing, and system reliability while maintaining stability and user experience.
- Manage and grow a team of 3–6 engineers, mentoring them to become AI-native builders and fostering ownership and continuous improvement.
- Ensure security and compliance as first-class concerns for handling sensitive financial data.
Requirements
- Location: Remote work is available from Poland, Romania, or Serbia.
- Minimum 6 years of software development experience.
- Minimum 3 years in a team lead/engineering manager position.
- Experience managing a team of 3+ developers.
- Hands-on AI-first mindset with production experience using coding agents in development workflows.
- Strong understanding of security and compliance for sensitive financial data.
Nice to have
- Fintech, real estate finance, or lending platform experience.
- Python backend and modern React/Next.js frontend experience.
- Hands-on Google Cloud Platform experience.
- Experience implementing AI-heavy development processes.
- Experience building marketplace or two-sided platforms.
