TL;DR

Controller (Finance) (Manufacturing): Leading and coordinating the North America finance function for a manufacturing organization with an accent on accounting operations, cost accounting, and financial reporting. Focus on overseeing month-end/year-end close processes, managing audits, and optimizing internal accounting efficiency.

Location: On-site in Sparta, Wisconsin (5 days per week). Open to relocation.

Salary: Up to $165,000 per annum

A manufacturing organization with an annual turnover of 40–50M.

What you will do

• Supervise the finance team and oversee all accounting functions to ensure the accuracy of financial records.
• Lead month-end and year-end close processes and manage inventory control procedures.
• Coordinate the financial statement audit process and prepare annual budgets for the parent company.
• Manage cash flow, foreign currency transactions, and accounts receivable.
• Prepare statutory financial reports, property tax, and NAFTA-related filings.
• Analyze financial and operational data to develop and maintain organizational KPIs.

Requirements

• 4 years of experience as a Controller handling full accounting records.
• 2–3 years of Cost Accounting experience and 3–5 years in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of internal controls and GAAP.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Experience managing accounting functions for a 40–50M organization.
• Proficiency with ERP systems.

Nice to have

• CPA certification.
