What you will do

• Maintain Aviation Safety Action Program (ASAP) agendas and supporting documentation.
• Track and analyze safety events using databases and enhance business dashboards via Power BI.
• Investigate trends relative to ground and flight safety to prevent accidents and incidents.
• Act as the primary liaison between the FAA, the company, and Union/Employee Group Representatives.
• Implement policies and procedures in accordance with company and industry guidance.
• Conduct follow-up analysis to ensure the effectiveness of corrective and preventative actions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in aviation or a related field, or equivalent experience in air carrier maintenance, quality assurance, or operations.
• At least 3 years of relevant professional experience or coursework.
• Ability to read and interpret professional journals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations.
• Ability to travel up to 10% of the time, including overnight and weekend travel.

Nice to have

• 3 years of experience with Safety Management Systems (SMS) or Aviation Safety Action Programs (ASAP).
• Airman Certificate (Commercial pilot, dispatch, or Airframe and Powerplant).
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Power BI.
