What you will do

• Develop and integrate high-fidelity models and software solutions into the AFSIM Modeling & Simulation framework.
• Expand and develop wsf_python and other integration tools for AFSIM.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of software engineers, data scientists, and analysts.
• Apply modern Agile software development practices to high-profile DoD and Intelligence Community projects.
• Implement full-stack solutions including backend framework development and network programming.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in both Modeling and Simulation (M&S) development and general software development.
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience with C++ and Python3.
• Experience developing software for Linux platforms using tools like Git, Bitbucket, GitLab, and Jenkins.
• US citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.

Nice to have

• Experience with M&S tools such as AFSIM, NGTS, and ITASE.
• Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, and WSL2 for container and VM management.
• Experience in CI/CD, scientific computing, and regression test development.
• Familiarity with DoD security practices.
