What you will do

• Maintain and prepare research plots, including planting, spraying, and harvesting activities.
• Perform crop scouting to evaluate weed control, insect infestations, and disease outbreaks.
• Train and guide summer interns to complete operational goals and develop workflows.
• Assist the research manager in sourcing sites, developing contracts, and planning data flow.
• Ensure DOT and safety compliance, including tracking fuel receipts and logbook procedures.

Requirements

• Must be based in the Bismarck, ND area.
• Bachelor’s degree strongly desired; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Up to 2 years of small plot or Ag retail experience.
• Must obtain a Class A CDL and Pesticide Applicators License within 60 days of employment.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate company vehicles.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in varying outdoor weather conditions.
