FSTD Support Engineer I (Flight Simulation)

What you will do

• Support flight simulator and cabin crew training devices through maintenance calls, setup, conversions, demonstrations, and technical tests.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks and daily readiness checks, complete documentation, and follow up on deficiencies.
• Run recurrent qualification tests, troubleshoot related issues, and coordinate with QTG specialists and senior engineers.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues across electronic, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, avionics, motion, and visual systems.
• Support senior colleagues during AOG situations and coordinate with logistics, scheduling, and training teams.
• Track snags, SPRs, Simissues, and maintenance activities in the Maintenance Management System within SLA timelines.

Requirements

• Technical college diploma or degree in electronics, electrical engineering, or aviation.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience supporting technical, aviation, or simulation systems.
• Excellent spoken and written English required.
• Ability to work flexible shifts and adapt to changing schedules with minimal supervision.
• Understanding of aircraft terminology, simulation training devices, schematics, and technical documentation.
• Knowledge of analog and digital principles, test equipment, diagnostic software, computer architecture, networking, Windows, UNIX, Linux, and AIX.
