Survey Manager

Salary: Minimum $125,000 per year; actual compensation depends on location, skills, certifications, and position circumstances.

What you will do

• Manage survey projects from planning through completion, maintaining quality, schedules, and budgets.
• Supervise and mentor field crews and office technicians.
• Coordinate project scope and deliverables with engineering teams and clients.
• Review survey data, plats, and reports for accuracy and industry compliance.
• Support proposals, project scoping, and client relationship management.
• Improve survey processes while maintaining safety, company, and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

• 5+ years of progressive survey experience, including leadership or project oversight.
• Professional Surveyor (PS) license required, or obtainable within 12 months.
• Strong knowledge of survey principles, field procedures, and data processing.
• Experience with GPS, robotic total stations, and CAD platforms.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously.
• Strong communication and client-facing skills in a multidisciplinary consulting environment.
