What you will do
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktop operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and software applications.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues for desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
- Set up and maintain user accounts, permissions, and passwords.
- Manage on-site device assets and maintain accurate hardware inventory and software licenses.
- Respond to technical assistance tickets and collaborate with IT teams to resolve complex issues.
- Educate end-users on basic troubleshooting techniques and technology best practices.
Requirements
- Current CompTIA Security+ or equivalent DOD baseline certification.
- Security Clearance is required (interim level is acceptable).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience supporting Windows desktop/laptop/PCs and other devices.
- IT education is preferred.
- Must be able to work onsite at Peterson Space Force Base.
