What you will do

• Develop and maintain Java-based applications of moderate to high complexity using solid software engineering principles.
• Design, develop, and test scalable features and services while resolving complex bugs and performance issues.
• Participate in architectural discussions to balance technical quality, business value, and delivery timelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional agile teams, including product managers, QA, and DevOps.
• Ensure development alignment with the company’s Quality Management System (QMS) and engineering standards.
• Assist with deployments and provide occasional production support during nights or weekends.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or 4+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java and object-oriented programming for writing clean, maintainable code.
• Experience with service communication protocols such as RESTful APIs, gRPC, SOAP, and event-driven architectures.
• Proficiency with relational databases (PostgreSQL) and ORM technologies like JPA and Hibernate.
• Hands-on experience building cloud-based API solutions on AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Legal authorization to work in the US without current or future sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with EHR systems in a healthcare environment.
• Knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards such as HL7 and FHIR.
• Basic understanding of DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipeline maintenance.
