IT Application Specialist

What you will do

• Provide second-line support for live business applications and investigate application incidents and requests.
• Act as a subject-matter expert for designated application areas, advising process owners and business stakeholders.
• Design, test, implement, maintain, and support application software across its full life cycle.
• Deliver application projects, transition new solutions into standard operational service, and contribute to applications architecture.
• Document solutions, develop end-user guidance, and train service desk staff to improve first-line resolution.
• Coordinate with third-party providers, IT business analysts, and stakeholders to deliver solutions within agreed SLAs, standards, and budgets.

Requirements

• Good IT background with experience supporting business applications or ERP solutions.
• Fluent English and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience working with mixed internal and outsourced application support models.
• Experience defining and documenting processes, performing gap analyses, and specifying IT system requirements.
• Understanding of application support, change management, IT infrastructure, and operational processes.
