What you will do

• Manage general lab resources and maintain operational organization.
• Assist team members with cell culture work and the generation of stable cell lines.
• Perform routine genetic engineering, including restriction cloning and Gibson asshirify.globaly.
• Co-organize scientific workshops, courses, and conferences.
• Involve in advanced techniques such as state-of-the-art live imaging, protein micropatterning, or atomic force microscopy.

Requirements

• Completed training as a lab technician with several years of experience, or a university degree (PhD in life sciences or biophysics preferred).
• Proven experience in cell biology and lipid biology.
• Must be based in or able to work in Heidelberg, Germany.
• Solid written and spoken English proficiency.
• Strong skills in organization, documentation, and reporting.

Nice to have

• Prior experience in live imaging.
• Former qualifications or work experience in lab management.
