What you will do
- Design and conduct cellular functional assays for hit characterization and compound profiling.
- Lead the development of innovative, high-quality assays for cellular characterization.
- Optimize, miniaturize, and automate screening assays to improve efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of client projects.
- Interpret complex data to support therapeutic modality validation.
Requirements
- PhD in Biology, Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in mammalian cell culture and cellular functional assay development.
- Expertise in designing assays for target engagement, signaling, and reporter activity.
- English proficiency required (German is a plus).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and thrive in a collaborative environment.
Nice to have
- Experience with 3D models, primary cells, and organoids.
- Experience with CRISPR/Cas9 tools.
