What you will do

• Inspect and evaluate vehicle physical damage in the field or virtually for first and third party claims.
• Complete detailed damage summaries and estimate repair costs based on current values and equipment.
• Negotiate settlements and repair prices with facilities, tow yards, and storage facilities.
• Research and analyze market information to determine actual cash value for total loss settlements.
• Maintain consistent communication with clients throughout the repair process to provide courteous service.
• Ensure all claim adjudications comply with state/federal laws and Department of Insurance criteria.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in the Property and Casualty insurance industry.
• 10+ years of experience in auto vehicle estimating, including complex repairs and total losses.
• Ability to acquire and maintain a current Independent Adjuster License with the Department of Insurance.
• Strong analytical, decision-making, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to pass a comprehensive background check.
• College degree is preferred.
