What you will do

• Collaborate with partner teams to understand pain points and drive adoption of logging products and tooling.
• Own technical direction and roadmap for a major area of the logging platform aligned with organizational priorities.
• Lead investments into new technical capabilities to unlock product innovation.
• Create and present design, product, and architecture documents; provide feedback on others.
• Translate prototypes into high-quality, scalable, and maintainable production code.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to engineers, fostering knowledge sharing and continuous learning.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in the United States
• 9+ years of industry engineering experience.
• Experience building internal infrastructure, especially in event logging and observability preferred.
• Deep expertise in backend/server languages such as Java, Kotlin, or C++ with experience architecting high-traffic backend systems.
• Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.
• Experience mentoring engineers and influencing engineering strategy across large organizations.
