What you will do

• Architect and develop highly scalable, mission-critical backend systems, owning the platform from long-term vision to implementation.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership for 40+ engineers to raise the overall engineering bar.
• Define architecture for critical systems and lead large-scale cross-team initiatives to improve service and code quality.
• Drive excellence in observability, testing, and debugging through data-informed decisions.
• Implement stack optimizations to improve cost, efficiency, and delivery velocity.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and senior leadership to communicate complex technical trade-offs.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in software engineering with deep architectural leadership.
• Proven ability to design and evolve architecture across multiple teams and critical system domains.
• Proficiency in backend languages such as Kotlin, Scala, or Java.
• Expertise in owning production services end-to-end, including deployment, monitoring, and long-term evolution.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Must be based in or willing to relocate to Bangkok, Thailand.
