What you will do

• Design, build, and operationalize scalable AI/ML infrastructure to support multi-agent AI systems.
• Implement the Model Control Plane (MCP) for model lifecycle management, including registry and lineage tracking.
• Research and integrate AI agent frameworks (e.g., LangChain) and develop shared services like managed vector databases for RAG.
• Build and maintain data infrastructure, pipelines, and tools to transform raw data into interpretable information.
• Mentor junior data engineers and collaborate with stakeholders to drive improvements in data engineering practices.
• Support recruiting efforts by evaluating technical assignments and assisting with interviews.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of experience.
• Proficiency with data ingestion systems, cloud database services, and visualization software.
• Strong background in constructing databases and processing big data.
• Must be based in the United States to support federal government clients.

Nice to have

• Expertise in AI/ML workflows, model deployment, and observability (latency, throughput).
• Experience with Python, SQL, Spark/Databricks, Kubernetes/ECS, and OpenAPI.
• Proficiency with vector databases and feature stores.
• Ability to design for data privacy and implement technical AI guardrails.
