What you will do

• Lead, mentor, and support Dev QA testers and analysts to improve their skills and effectiveness.
• Assign testing tasks, manage workloads, and ensure comprehensive coverage across features and milestones.
• Define and maintain QA processes, standards, and best practices across the project.
• Create and oversee test plans, test cases, and risk assessments for major systems and features.
• Partner with production to estimate QA scope, plan resources, and track quality-related risks.
• Use debugging tools, logs, and engine features to investigate issues at a technical level.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in a senior or lead role within video game QA.
• Strong understanding of game development workflows and tools such as Unity, Unreal, or proprietary engines.
• Proficiency with bug tracking systems (e.g., Jira, DevTrack, Hansoft).
• Proven leadership or mentorship experience within a QA environment.
• Experience contributing to at least one shipped game or major feature set.
• Must be able to attend in-person interviews at hirify.global locations.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with version control systems like Perforce or Git.
• Experience with automation tools or scripting.
• Understanding of performance testing, profiling, or memory analysis.
• Knowledge of console certification requirements or platform-specific testing.
