Location: Austin, TX; Chicago, IL; Toronto, Canada

Salary: $78,400 – $116,020 (Illinois) / $75,700 – $112,060 CAD (Ontario)

What you will do

  • Develop and maintain test strategies, regression plans, and test cases encompassing manual and non-functional testing.
  • Control and monitor testing efforts to identify coverage gaps and improve efficiency.
  • Coach and mentor junior team members and manage external vendor teams.
  • Communicate complex technical problems and solutions in a clear and concise manner.
  • Maintain and update team wikis and FAQs regarding processes, tools, and scripts.

Requirements

  • Strong experience working in a game studio as part of a feature/sprint team.
  • Expert understanding of software QA and mobile game development practices.
  • Experience with task tracking and test management systems, preferably JIRA and TestMo.
  • Proven ability to organize and prioritize tasks for external test teams.
  • Experience with Live Ops and Games-as-a-Service projects.

Nice to have

  • ISTQB/ISEB Foundation certifications.
  • Experience working on iOS, Android, and Amazon platforms.
  • Familiarity with Unity, Unreal, Xcode, or Visual Studio.
  • Knowledge of GIT/SVN, API test tooling, and automation frameworks.
