What you will do

• Own the technical architecture and roadmap for the XR Training Academy platform.
• Design scalable cloud-native architectures, APIs, and integration patterns.
• Lead the implementation of AI experiences using LLMs, agentic workflows, and RAG.
• Contribute production-quality code for backend services and cloud infrastructure (approx. 70% hands-on development).
• Define engineering standards and break down complex features into executable technical workstreams.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Unity leads to align technical execution with the product vision.

Requirements

• 8+ years of software development experience.
• 3+ years in a Technical Lead, Lead Developer, or Solution Architect role.
• Strong full-stack experience with TypeScript, JavaScript, React, and Node.js.
• Proven experience building applications leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs), specifically OpenAI or Azure OpenAI.
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident.

• Experience with XR, VR, AR, or Unity.
• Background in building training, education, or simulation platforms.
• Experience with multi-modal AI systems.
