Lead Full-Stack Engineer (AI)

Location: Brazil, remote; flexible hours with US overlap.

Salary: $70,000–$120,000 USD annually; CNPJ contractor engagement.

What you will do

• Audit the existing architecture and determine what should be retained, rebuilt, and standardized.
• Turn the Cloudflare and Supabase-based system into a maintained, documented codebase with clear engineering guidelines.
• Design data pipelines for Klaviyo, Postscript, and Attentive ingestion, modeling, synchronization, storage, and advanced querying.
• Build and maintain AI agents and skills for diagnostics, reporting, QA, go-to-market, and internal operations.
• Evolve prototype products into scalable tools that clients can rely on.
• Set technical direction, collaborate with the founder and clients, and establish practices for future engineering hires.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software development experience and a track record of shipping software used by real people.
• Strong full-stack skills with TypeScript and/or Python, modern backend and frontend development, Cloudflare, Supabase/Postgres, and SQL.
• Experience provisioning cloud infrastructure with AWS, GCP, or Azure, as well as CI/CD workflows.
• Hands-on experience building LLM systems, including agents, tool use, RAG, evaluations, prompts, and skills.
• Experience owning data pipelines and infrastructure, including third-party API integrations, data modeling, synchronization, and querying.
• Excellent written and verbal English, proactive communication, and experience working remotely and asynchronously.

Nice to have

• Experience with Klaviyo, Postscript, Attentive, Braze, or the DTC/ecommerce ecosystem.
• Background in martech or retention product companies.
• Experience productizing internal tools or converting agency workflows into software.
• Experience with AI coding tools such as Codex or Claude Code.
• Strong product instinct and experience as the only or lead engineer.
