Senior AI Platform Developer

Location: Montréal, Quebec, Canada; remote and hybrid work options are available, with teleworking subject to the position and operational requirements. Candidates must have authorization to work in Canada.

What you will do

• Design, build, and operate AI platform capabilities used by product teams to create and run AI agents.
• Develop services for agent orchestration, runtime execution, tool integration, lifecycle management, evaluation, observability, and governance.
• Create reusable APIs, SDKs, templates, reference implementations, documentation, retrieval services, workflow builders, and agent operational stores.
• Enable secure and governed integrations between agents, internal APIs, data sources, knowledge systems, and Azure AI services.
• Define standards for deployment, monitoring, evaluation, access control, cost management, and responsible AI practices.
• Mentor developers and shape technical direction across the AI Platform team.

Requirements

• 10+ years of hands-on experience building and operating SaaS products.
• Strong experience with production-grade backend, platform, AI infrastructure, or agent infrastructure services.
• Experience designing distributed systems, APIs, cloud-native services, and developer-facing capabilities.
• Hands-on experience with AI/LLM infrastructure such as agent orchestration, retrieval, tool calling, evaluation pipelines, Agent IAM, observability, or responsible AI guardrails.
• Ability to build AI systems that are secure, observable, testable, governed, reliable, and cost-aware in production.
• Authorization to work in Canada is required.
