Security Engineer III (AWS)

What you will do

• Design, implement, configure, and maintain security engineering tools across cloud infrastructure.
• Build and maintain AWS infrastructure using Terraform and infrastructure as code.
• Create and support automated CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions.
• Partner with engineering and software development teams on architecture, reliability, and adoption of security tools.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting to improve system visibility and reliability.
• Support capacity planning, performance tuning, disaster recovery, runbooks, and production troubleshooting.

Requirements

• Knowledge of IT security tools, cloud computing, and security services in AWS, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, or Aliyun.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, including GitHub Actions.
• Experience with security monitoring tools such as New Relic or CloudWatch.
• Proficiency in Python, shell scripting, or application development.
• Experience with SIEM, DLP, EDR, firewalls, IDS/IPS, or code analysis tools.
• Exposure to cloud environments, virtualization, containerization, infrastructure as code, Agile, or DevOps frameworks.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with AI tools such as GitHub Copilot or ChatGPT Enterprise for security use cases.
• Interest in emerging security standards for technology environments.
