What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain the patient-facing web portal and supporting microservices.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and UI/UX designers to ensure technical decisions meet high standards of excellence.
• Build and optimize highly available systems to support business applications, providers, and patients.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle from ideation to release, operation, and maintenance.
• Support QA activities in conjunction with QA engineering teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software development experience, specifically with NodeJS, TypeScript, and React.
• Experience with microservice architecture and the AWS ecosystem (EC2, ECS, Lambda, SQS, SNS, S3).
• Proficiency in GraphQL, REST API design, and event-driven architecture using distributed event stores like Kafka.
• Strong relational database design and optimization skills (MySQL) and NoSQL experience (DynamoDB, ElasticSearch).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation) and containerization (Docker).
• Must be based in the USA.
