Location: Hybrid (3 days/week in Oakville, ON office)
Salary: $68,000 - $75,000 annually

What you will do
- Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals, deferrals, and reclassifications in accordance with GAAP.
- Manage the end-to-end procure-to-pay (P2P) cycle, including PO matching, invoice approvals, and payment processing.
- Perform detailed GL account reconciliations and balance sheet analysis to resolve discrepancies.
- Review AP entries, employee expense reports, and corporate credit card transactions for policy compliance.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes and assist with internal/external audits.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to improve data quality and optimize workflows using AI tools.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- Actively pursuing the CPA designation or eligible to enroll in a CPA PEP program.
- 3–6 years of accounting experience with exposure to both AP and general ledger functions, ideally in multi-entity environments.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP).
- Ability to work hybrid (Tues/Wed/Thurs) in the Oakville, ON office.
Nice to have
- Experience with NetSuite ERP.
- Familiarity with procure-to-pay platforms.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI.
