What you will do

• Develop original Spanish-language news content for broadcast and digital platforms in the Bay Area and Northern California.
• Write, edit, and gather content across all linear and digital platforms, including FAST.
• Collaborate with producers, assignment editors, reporters, and anchors to deliver cohesive newscasts.
• Conceptualize and produce visual stories by building graphics and banners.
• Monitor local events to create content that resonates with a bilingual demographic.
• Fill in as a line producer as needed.

Requirements

• Fluency in Spanish and English (written and verbal).
• Unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.
• 2 years of experience in broadcast television production.
• Strong news editorial judgment and impeccable writing skills.
• Knowledge of nonlinear editing systems and workflows.
• Active Driver’s License and good driving record.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience using social platforms (TikTok, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook) to increase viewership.
• Strong computer skills and understanding of multi-media file formats.
