What you will do
- Design interfaces for high-stakes, real-time operational decisions that remain legible under pressure.
- Partner with product managers and engineers to guide user experience from idea to launch.
- Shape AI-assisted operator workflows with transparent guardrails and audit trails.
- Build and maintain operational components in the Moxy Design System using Figma and Storybook.
- Conduct user research, including interviews and usability testing, directly with OCC operators.
- Translate complex operational requirements into user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity prototypes.
Requirements
- Must be based in or able to work onsite in Cottonwood Heights, Utah.
- 4-year degree in UI/UX, graphic, or multimedia design or equivalent experience.
- 3–5 years of professional UI/UX design experience with complex, data-dense software.
- Proficiency with Figma and Storybook.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating experience with workflow-heavy applications.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in a high-pressure environment.
Nice to have
- Domain knowledge in aviation or airline operations (OCC, dispatch, crew, or maintenance).
