What you will do

• Ship foundational services to enable engineering teams to move faster with confidence.
• Guide the design and development of platform primitives including infrastructure, databases, and queuing systems.
• Deliver software to improve the availability, scalability, latency, and efficiency of core platforms.
• Design and develop systems and processes that enable highly available and scalable applications.
• Mentor and pair with other engineers to build better software focusing on performance and configuration as code.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience operating and scaling complex distributed systems.
• Proven experience developing applications in Python and Go.
• Experience in operating Kubernetes at scale and using Terraform.
• Fundamental understanding of Linux and all layers of the networking stack.
• Experience working in a cloud-native environment.
• Interest in responsibly exploring and applying AI tools to workflows.
