What you will do

• Set technical direction and strategy to improve platform reliability, security, and cost across the organization.
• Design and build an AI-augmented platform, creating infra primitives and guardrails that allow LLMs to reason about and interact with infrastructure.
• Own Infrastructure-as-Code standards for Kubernetes, AWS, and GCP using Terraform, Helm, and Kustomize.
• Evolve the CI/CD backbone using Argo CD, Workflows, and GitHub Actions to make deployments faster and safer.
• Lead incident response for complex cross-system P0s and convert postmortems into durable platform improvements.
• Mentor engineers, remove single points of dependency, and refine hiring practices to scale team impact.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in software engineering, DevOps, or SRE with deep hands-on cloud infrastructure expertise.
• Deep production experience operating Kubernetes (EKS, GKE) and containerized applications at scale.
• Strong programming skills in Golang or Python and fluency with Terraform.
• Solid command of AWS core services (EC2, EKS, IAM, VPC, ALB, S3) and networking/security fundamentals.
• Familiarity with GitOps workflows and the CNCF ecosystem (Argo, Helm, Backstage, Envoy).
• Must be based in the United States (eligible for US-based benefits and tax laws).
