What you will do

• Design and evolve sound product architectures that align with and support the business case.
• Facilitate architectural debates and decision-making, making trade-offs explicit and keeping teams aligned.
• Partner with sales during pre-sales to capture prospect needs and craft realistic solution approaches and offers.
• Break down the complexity of modern platform solutions into understandable building blocks for engineers and stakeholders.
• Communicate complex technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders through compelling storytelling and presentations.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a software engineer with prior experience in a solution architecture role.
• Proficiency in Domain Driven Design (DDD) and modern patterns such as microservices, event-driven, RAG, and Agentic patterns.
• Strong knowledge of secure software delivery (OWASP, threat modelling, SAST/DAST) and AI-specific security risks.
• Proven experience with SDLC, CI/CD, DevOps, and architecture modelling tools like C4, UML, and ADRs.
• Ability to effectively facilitate technical discussions and use whiteboarding for complex problem solving.
• Location: Must be based in Belgium
