Senior Machine Learning Engineer

Location: Madrid, Spain

Salary: €70,000–€98,000 total cash annually, with potential pay up to €112,000 based on sustained performance.

What you will do

• Architect and own end-to-end ML infrastructure for training, deployment, and serving in batch and real-time environments.
• Define technical standards for reliability, observability, performance, and scalable ML system design.
• Design and implement large-scale data pipelines for feature engineering and model training.
• Improve ML platform performance and reliability by identifying and resolving system bottlenecks.
• Establish ML Ops practices covering CI/CD, monitoring, alerting, and A/B testing frameworks.
• Partner with ML scientists and product stakeholders, mentor engineers, lead reviews, and guide technical strategy.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience in software, data, or ML engineering, with a record of delivering production ML systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills, deep Python proficiency, and hands-on experience with TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Strong understanding of ML algorithms, model architectures, and scalable ML infrastructure.
• Experience with AWS or GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, Spark, Kafka, MLflow or TensorFlow Serving, CI/CD tooling, and ML platform design.
• Ability to mentor engineers, lead technical discussions, and drive cross-functional alignment.
