What you will do
- Provide technical leadership for a cross-functional team of Data Scientists, Machine Learning Engineers, and Software Engineers developing Visual Intelligence technology.
- Drive delivery of business value by translating market opportunities into roadmaps, measurable milestones, and efficient delivery plans.
- Own improvements to team productivity, output quality, engineering practices, processes, structures, and tools.
- Architect scalable data and machine learning systems for training and serving models across hundreds of millions of images and records.
- Shape the technology stack across Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, FastAPI, Streamlit, Grafana, and GitHub Actions.
- Promote strong engineering standards through mentorship, coaching, CI/CD, build systems, and code quality practices.
Requirements
- Expert knowledge of modern deep learning and computer vision concepts and techniques.
- Proven ability to lead the continuous creation and delivery of value through deep learning and computer vision solutions.
- Experience with machine learning areas including tree-based models and LLMs.
- Expertise with large-scale datasets and distributed processing in the cloud, especially GCP.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals and experience mentoring and coaching engineers.
- Proficiency in English is required for communicating complex concepts through video calls and written channels.
