Senior Data Scientist (MLOPS)

Location: Amsterdam, Noord-Holland, Netherlands; hybrid work from home and the Amsterdam office

What you will do

• Extract insights from fast-growing operational and flight data sources.
• Build and productionize AI and machine learning models for flight-delay prediction, maintenance planning, and crew scheduling.
• Contribute to large-scale optimization and simulation projects.
• Develop tools that make operational processes more transparent for planners and crews.
• Work with real-time data and smart calculations to improve passenger and crew experiences.
• Test, monitor, maintain, and improve models running in live production environments.

Requirements

• Background in Data Science, Business Analytics, or Operations Research.
• 4–6 years of experience as a Data Scientist or in Machine Learning.
• Hands-on experience with modeling and analysis, as well as putting machine learning models into production.
• Knowledge of open-source technologies such as Spark, Kafka, Airflow, or Kubernetes.
• Customer-focused, results-oriented approach and willingness to learn while solving challenging problems.
