is developing Nyx, a modular and reusable space orbital vehicle capable of cargo and human transport.
What you will do
- Design and develop custom analog and digital hardware to emulate spacecraft subsystems, sensors, actuators, and communication buses.
- Own the complete hardware development lifecycle from requirements and schematic design to PCB layout and validation.
- Develop embedded firmware for microcontrollers and custom electronic platforms supporting emulation and automated testing.
- Perform hardware debugging and root-cause analysis using laboratory instrumentation such as oscilloscopes and spectrum analyzers.
- Integrate custom electronics into Hardware-in-the-Loop (HiL) and Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE) platforms.
- Collaborate with software and automation engineers to implement scalable and automated test solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronic Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience in electronic hardware development or test equipment design.
- Strong proficiency in analog/digital circuit design and ECAD tools, preferably Altium Designer.
- Practical experience with embedded systems and firmware development in C/C++.
- Hands-on experience with laboratory instrumentation and board bring-up procedures.
- English: Fluency required
Nice to have
- Experience with LabVIEW, NI TestStand, or Python for test automation and data analysis.
- Knowledge of aerospace, automotive, or high-reliability electronic systems.
- Experience with communication protocols: CAN, RS-422/485, SPI, I2C, UART, or Ethernet.
- Experience with FPGA-based systems or mixed-signal electronics.
- Familiarity with HiL systems and verification methodologies.
