What you will do

• Create and maintain a wide range of PBR materials and surface treatments.
• Build and manage Substance Designer graphs for tileable materials, trims, and surface details.
• Collaborate with Environment Artists to integrate materials consistently across game environments.
• Develop and document material workflows, standards, and libraries.
• Track and address material-related bugs during production and post-production.

Requirements

• Must reside in Ontario, Canada to be considered.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating artistic approach to material and surface creation.
• 3+ years of experience in video game production with at least one shipped title.
• Proficiency in Substance Designer and Substance Painter.
• Solid understanding of PBR workflows and material creation pipelines.
• Technical proficiency in UV layout, texel density, and texture optimization.
