What you will do

• Design and maintain efficient UE5 systems for gameplay AI, animation, character physics, and spawning.
• Translate gameplay requirements into technical solutions using C++ and UE5 Blueprints.
• Write optimized, documented code and conduct performance analysis for multi-platform stability.
• Take ownership of features from ideation and planning through to support and bug fixing.
• Collaborate with cross-departmental teams to translate creative visions into technical reality.
• Perform code reviews and maintain high coding standards using Perforce.

Requirements

• Strong C++ knowledge with an emphasis on maintainable and reusable code.
• Deep proficiency in Unreal Engine 5, including Blueprints, UObjects, and delegate usage.
• Experience with navigation systems, state trees, state machines, EQS, and character movement.
• Familiarity with software design patterns such as hashmaps and entity-component systems.
• Experience with performance analysis and subsequent optimization.
• Proficiency with source control systems, ideally Perforce.
